good second bookI thought the beginning and end of the book was really good the middle just dragged a bit， but solid continuation of the story and I look forward to book 3。

DNF- I really wanted to like this book but stopped at 400 pages in and literally nothing had happened。 Also there’s no chemistry between the main couple anymore and Bastian is just too obsessed with honor and duty for me to be into him。 I gave the first book 3 stars and was hoping for a better score with this one but I don’t think this series is for me， unfortunately。

So good。 Truly， so good。 Lucky to have received an ARC of this one and， although I’m late， it wasn’t because I wasn’t into the book。 The story picks up right where we left off with Bastien out of his mind with worry and Kat dying from the poison she took at the end of the last novel。 It was really fun to see characters from Clare’s other serious show up and become important side characters in this one， and I love how her different stories are weaving together。 I loved Kat in the last book and I So good。 Truly， so good。 Lucky to have received an ARC of this one and， although I’m late， it wasn’t because I wasn’t into the book。 The story picks up right where we left off with Bastien out of his mind with worry and Kat dying from the poison she took at the end of the last novel。 It was really fun to see characters from Clare’s other serious show up and become important side characters in this one， and I love how her different stories are weaving together。 I loved Kat in the last book and I love her even more in this one。 She isn’t your normal kick-butt heroine。 She’s had a lot of trauma and really struggled up to this point and used unhealthy things to cope。 I am so proud of her and everything she’s overcome while still having empathy and helping others。 And Bastien…he is truly the best in this book and I loved watching him and Kat really fall in love。 But the ending！ Girl， be prepared。 Can’t wait till the next one！ 。。。more

This is the kind of book you wish you could just binge read all in one sitting instead of having to be an adult。 The second installment in the Shadows of Tenebris Court series takes place in the Dusk Court and I adored this setting for so many reasons。 Being there we got to know Bastian and his life so much more and Kat got closer to finding a cure for her ailment。 The tension between these two is outrageous and so well written by @claresager， I was on the edge on my seat！ I’m so happy that Ella This is the kind of book you wish you could just binge read all in one sitting instead of having to be an adult。 The second installment in the Shadows of Tenebris Court series takes place in the Dusk Court and I adored this setting for so many reasons。 Being there we got to know Bastian and his life so much more and Kat got closer to finding a cure for her ailment。 The tension between these two is outrageous and so well written by @claresager， I was on the edge on my seat！ I’m so happy that Ella and Perry joined Kat in this new adventure as well as making a couple new friends， Rose and Ari， along the way。 I love the camaraderie and caring in this friend group and they are something that Kat desperately needs as she tries to become more comfortable with herself。 Kat and Bastian have finally overcome the hurdle of that pesky contract with Robin and can be together truly and that made my heart so happy！ The ending was completely unexpected， and I have no clue how I am going to wait until next year for the third book。 I will have to try and be patient but it’s hard when I throughly enjoyed the first two books so much！ Thank you to @bookofmatchesmedia and @claresager for including me in the tour for these books。 This series is now a favorite of mine and I cannot recommend it another to my fellow Romantasy lovers！ 。。。more

Oh my goodness this book！ I thought Kiss of Iron was amazing and yet somehow Touch of Poison was even better！！！ I LOVE court intrigue and double crossing。 Without giving spoilers， I must admit I called the “surprise” villain and I’m quite certain we still don’t know all of them （I have theories）。Kat’s growth in this book was simply amazing and she went through so much to accept who she is。 Beautifully written。 And I absolutely ate up every chapter from Bastian’s POV。 His devotion is swoon worthy Oh my goodness this book！ I thought Kiss of Iron was amazing and yet somehow Touch of Poison was even better！！！ I LOVE court intrigue and double crossing。 Without giving spoilers， I must admit I called the “surprise” villain and I’m quite certain we still don’t know all of them （I have theories）。Kat’s growth in this book was simply amazing and she went through so much to accept who she is。 Beautifully written。 And I absolutely ate up every chapter from Bastian’s POV。 His devotion is swoon worthy。 I have to admit I was expecting a work cliffhanger for the end but I still cannot wait for A Promise of Lies to come out。 。。。more
